As per our last blog post, you may already know that the High-Tech SeedLab accelerator program is coming to an end on 31 December 2021. The official end of our accelerator program does not mean you and your business idea will end up out there alone on the street with no help. In fact, you can find many accelerator programs under the umbrella of the BSS (Berliner Startup Stipendium). We had a hard time choosing but here are four of the programs we can strongly recommend to you:
Soulincubator
If your idea has anything to do with Circular Economy and/or avoiding the use of plastics, Soulincubator’s accelerator is the right one for you. Their program will support founding teams for six months and a monthly stipend of €2,000 per person. Additionally, Soulincubator comes along with a focus on conflict solving and nonviolent communications, teaching all participants beyond the typical entrepreneurial topics. Their next batch will kick off in April 2022, applications open in January.
Reaktor.Berlin
The award for the accelerator with the coolest name goes to Reaktor.Berlin. From January 2022 onwards, their program will take in founding teams on a rolling basis, so no need for you to wait for an official application round. Being located in the heart of Berlin, you can expect six months of support, top-class mentors and financial support of €2,000 per person/per month. You can already apply to pitch your idea and get the chance to be short-listed for the final selection here.
Bosch Startup Harbour
Our partner in crime Bosch Startup Harbour just started its application round #6 and you can apply via F6s here (deadline is 12 December). The program focuses on early-stage deep tech startups within the field of Internet of Things (IoT) and aims to support talented founders and their teams with an initial business concept on their journey to becoming a successful venture. Participating teams receive six months of support, €1,800 per person/per month as well as connections to relevant Bosch business units, partners, potential customers, and investors.
The Accelerator by Berlin Startup School
If you’re active within the startup ecosystem of Berlin and/or are an aspiring entrepreneur yourself, you’ve most likely heard about Berlin Startup School’s Startup Academy at some point. From January 2022, they will be part of the BSS as well. You can already apply for their program which will make you investor ready in just 6 months with the help of high-calibre coaches and mentors and a monthly grant of €2,000 per person. You can apply for the first batch until 15 November here.
Hochschule für Technik und Wirtschaft Berlin & InnoTechHub
If your team works on a solution or service helping to make Berlin the next big #SmartCity, and you feel like the know-how and labs of a university could back you up best, apply at HTW Berlin for the Berliner Startup Stipendium. Funding is 2.000 € per person – up to 12 months! At HTW Berlin, BSS comes along with mentoring by professors and access to 100+ labs, coaching, and a wild card for the workshop program “InnoTechTrack” (tailored to the needs of tech-entrepreneurs) and last but not least a network to pilot customers, investors, and a big startup community. You don’t feel ready yet for the BSS? No prob – apply for InnoTechTrack’s pioneer phase, and we will get you ready! Application deadline for both programs is Nov 15th. Apply here.
More programs
All of the programs listed above offer equity-free support, so you don’t need to worry about giving away any shares and can instead concentrate on further developing and testing your business idea, making first connections to investors and learning all soft skills necessary to be a successful entrepreneur.
