Today, we are launching the first round of the AtomLeap High-Tech Accelerator Program, which aims to promote high-tech startups and to strengthen Berlin and Germany as centers of technological innovation. After a careful selection process, we invited four startups to join the program, which will run from November to April 2018 and will comprise of intensive, ongoing coaching and personalized workshops.
Our accelerator program is targeted at German and European entrepreneurs and startups at various stages of development, which are either based either in Berlin or interested in relocating to Berlin; at research teams and students; as well as at spin-offs that are interested in developing their ideas outside of their parent companies.
In the words of Dr. Robin Tech, founder and CEO of AtomLeap, the accelerator is targeting “interesting high-tech teams that are willing to take risks and develop relevant solutions that address current challenges”,
Without further ado, these are the first four startups with which we will be working in the next six months:
Disrupt space is a platform based on the blockchain technology that enables different players and entrepreneurs to create and grow space ventures and to overcome the barriers between the space industry and other sectors.
Ghost offers a combination of a glove and a rehabilitation tool that helps to rehabilitate patients suffering from irreversible nerve damage without complex and cost-intensive surgery.
LiveEO is the first real-time earth observation application making use of synergies of Sentinel-2 data and geolocation services to monitor critical infrastructure like railways and power grids.
|pipe| is a secure, low latency side channel (a transport layer) connecting an IoT device directly to the owner’s smartphone browser, and thus obviating the need to go through cloud-based intermediary servers. The solution is licensed as a software toolkit (SDK) to device developers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs).
